EBS Staff Development is a division of the EBS Institute.

The EBS Institute, Inc. is a Maryland-based corporation (DUNS #031671324) that specializes in development of scenario-based science materials, training teachers in the use of such materials, and providing workshops on cognitive neuroscience and understanding-based assessment. We also provide writing and editing services. 

Teachers Build Thrill Ride at an EBS Institute Workshop Middle school teachers from Winthrop School District in Massachusetts spent part of October 6, 1998, learning how to teach the EBS way. Sessions on Thrill Ride!, Asteroid!, Hurricane!, and Earthquake! were presented by EBS Institute President (Dr. Russell Wright) and EBS science-activity writer, Gene Molesky.
